Master and PhD Thesis Awards

The CONET Master and PhD Thesis Awards were handed over at EWSN 2009. Theses in the area of Cooperating Objects that were completed during the year 2008 were assessed by a jury of CONET members with respect to scientific originality, scientific significance for the field of Cooperating Objects, quality of the presentation and potential for practical application.

Best paper award

CONET also donated a prize for the best paper of EWSN. It was awarded to Konrad Iwanicki and Maarten van Steen for their paper "Multi-Hop Cluster Hierarchy Maintenance in Wireless Sensor Networks: A Case for Gossip-Based Protocol".
